From their beautiful Catholic ceremony at Light of the World Catholic Church in Denver to their unforgettable wedding party photos at the Red Rocks Trading Post, then ending with a party at Ken Caryl Vista by Wedgewood. Every part of their day reflected who they are as a couple—warm, sweet, and deeply loved.

A Love Story That Started in the Mountains

Before their wedding day, I had the chance to photograph Ashley and Brett’s engagement session in the Colorado mountains, and from the very beginning, it was clear how naturally they fit together. They are one of those couples who make each other laugh effortlessly and support each other in the sweetest ways.

Spending that time with them before the wedding made their big day feel even more special. Watching them go from engagement photos surrounded by mountain views to standing together at the altar was such a full-circle moment.

A Traditional Catholic Ceremony in Denver

Ashley and Brett chose to honor their faith with a traditional Catholic ceremony at a beautiful church, the Light of the World Catholic Church. Catholic ceremonies always carry such a strong sense of meaning and reverence, and theirs was no exception. One of the most touching moments of the morning was Ashley’s first look with her father. As she tapped him on the shoulder in her wedding dress, his face lit up with pride and emotion, and you could immediately see how special that moment was for both of them. There were happy tears, big smiles, and the kind of hug that says everything without needing words.

Surrounded by family, friends, and a large wedding party who clearly adored them, Ashley and Brett exchanged vows in a ceremony that felt heartfelt and deeply personal. Wedding Party Fun at Red Rocks Trading Post

After the ceremony, the celebration really picked up as Ashley and Brett and their wedding party hopped on a party bus and headed to the Red Rocks Trading Post for wedding party photos.

This part of the day was so much fun. With a large wedding party full of energy and personality, there was no shortage of laughter, cheering, and unforgettable moments. Red Rocks always delivers the most incredible scenery, and the dramatic red rock formations created the perfect backdrop for bold, joyful wedding party portraits.

Ashley and Brett also brought along one very important guest to Red Rocks—their dog, dressed to impress in the cutest little bow tie tux. He stole plenty of attention and added such a fun, personal touch to their wedding day photos. Including their pup made the portraits feel even more meaningful and perfectly captured their love for their four-legged family member.

The celebration continued at Ken Caryl Vista, where their reception came to life in a beautiful and inviting space.

Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner while laughter and conversation filled the room. The relaxed dinner style created a warm, comfortable atmosphere where everyone could connect, celebrate, and enjoy the evening together.

And once dinner wrapped up, the dance floor came alive.

Ashley and Brett shared joyful dances with their guests, celebrating surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. From heartfelt moments to high-energy dancing, the reception perfectly captured the fun and love that defined their entire day.

One of my favorite moments from Ashley and Brett’s wedding day was watching them personally greet their guests as they entered cocktail hour.

Instead of staying tucked away, they chose to step into the celebration and connect with the people who came to celebrate them. It was such a thoughtful gesture and truly reflected their kind and welcoming personalities.

You could tell how much they value their relationships, and their guests felt that love in return.
